What steps will you take to ensure all Americans have access to quality and affordable health care, including reproductive care and prescription drug coverage?  

Vice President Harris and Governor Walz will make affordable health care a right, not a privilege, by expanding and strengthening the Affordable Care Act and making the tax credits that are lowering premiums by about $800 a year for millions of Americans permanent. She’ll extend the $35 cap on insulin and $2,000 cap on out-of-pocket prescription drug costs for seniors to all Americans. And she’ll accelerate Medicare negotiations to cover more drugs to lower prices for Americans. Vice President Harris is helping to cancel $7 billion of medical debt for nearly 3 million Americans, and as President, she’ll work with states to relieve medical debt for even more Americans. What steps will you take to curb gun violence and build safe and healthy communities for communities disproportionally impacted by gun violence in the United States? 

Vice President Harris and Governor Walz believe that every American deserves the freedom to live safe from gun violence in our schools, communities, and places of worship. As a prosecutor, Vice President Harris led efforts to reduce gun violence by getting illegal guns off the streets, prosecuting violent criminals, and legislating to close loopholes and expand background checks. What are the most important steps you will take to improve U.S. immigration policies, including creating an accessible path to citizenship?

Vice President Harris and Governor Walz believe in tough, smart solutions to secure the border, keep communities safe, and reform our broken immigration system. As Attorney General, Vice President Harris went after international drug gangs, human traffickers, and cartels that smuggled guns, drugs, and human beings across the U.S.-Mexico border. As Vice President, she supported the bipartisan border security bill, which included the strongest reforms in decades. Vice President Harris has advanced climate action her entire career.
